Worman Wedding

May 15, 2010

I couldn't tell you how closely I watched the weather the week prior to Jason & Michelle's wedding.
A week or so before the wedding the forecast called for scattered showers and it wasn't until a few days before that changed. Saturday, May 25, 2010: Sunny & 72 degrees. I woke up at 6am, got ready and headed through Onalaska to pick up Ben Strong who was my second shooter of the day. We arrived on the farm in Chaseburg, WI early enough to start taking photos of Michelle getting her hair done and the rest of the bridesmaids. Having the both the wedding and the ceremony on the farm made the day so convenient and picturesque! Everything from the guy's cowboy boots with spurs to the home made dinner made for such a one-of-a-kind wedding. If you ask me this one should have been in a magazine. Now, I have always been an emotional one (i'm pretty sure it has to do with being a Cancer) so at any given point of a wedding day I am bound to tear up no matter what. That moment on the family farm came when I was watching the bride check in the mirror one last time as her mother and sister peaked in. Her sister had just arrived with a new born baby girl in her arms. Born only a week before the wedding yet not expected to arrive into the world until a few weeks after the wedding, and there she was. Watching Michelle's mother with her two daughters was a priceless moment.
